At the same time, in 1997, his interest in Jazz began and he studied: harmony, electric bass and combo at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona with the teachers: Iñaki Azkunze, David Mengual, José Luis Gamez. At that time he was part of the Xavi Lloses Group together with Marc Clos.
During his secondary studies, in November 2000, he was selected as a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia where for more than two years he worked with renowned conductors such as: Manel Valdivieso, Robert King, Antoni Ros Marbà...
In September 2003, he took the 8th string course "City of Toledo" with Toni García y Araque, who would become his higher-level teacher.
In August 2005 he was chosen by the Department of Education of the Generalitat to represent Catalonia in the Inter Regional Orchestra (IRO) in Germany, acting as principal.
He has worked under the direction of conductors such as: Manel Valdivieso, Robert King, Jordi Mora, G. Van Waas, Gianandrea Noseda, A. Ros Marbà, Klaus Arp, E. Martínez Izquierdo... And he has received advice from renowned double bassists such as: Tomas Martin, Andrew Ackermann, Thierry Barbe, Frano Kakarigi, Cristoph Rahn, Jonathan Camps, Ernst Weissensteiner...
In June 2009 he finished his Higher Degree studies at E.S.M.U.C in the double bass specialty in classical and contemporary music under the tutelage of professor Toni García i Araque.
During the period of classical training, he participated in a large number of young orchestras and chamber groups, of which it is worth noting: Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya, Orquestra Athenea de Girona, Orquestra del Segle XXI, Orquestra de L' E.S.M.U.C, Orquestra del Conservatorio professional of Music from Badalona... performing the functions of principal and soloist on several occasions.
He has collaborated with the OBC and the Vallès Symphony Orchestra and participated in numerous studio recordings.
On the pedagogical side, he has taught classes as: teacher of modern music combos, electric bass and double bass in the schools of: Llagostera, Cassà de la Selva and Caldes de Malavella.
He is currently part of the classical-jazz project Bolling Ensemble, performing the suites for flute and jazz trio by Claude Bolling. Accompanying: Claudi Arimany, Santi Escura and Ferran Guillamet.
He is also a member of the habaneras group Els Pescadors de L'Escala since 2006 as a double bass player and baritone The group was awarded the Creu de Sant Jordi in 2014 by the Generalitat de Catalunya. He has recorded 6 albums and performed more than 1,500 performances to date.
Since 2016 he has been part of the current formation of the funky group The Firal Band from Cassà de la Selva.
